Cindy majored in music education (trumpet) at Berry College. For the last several years she has worked as a kindergarten parapro in Gwinnett County. She plays old-time Appalachian string band and folk music for contradances and other events. Besides singing, her instruments are bass, guitar, harmonica, and penny whistle.
